What is So! Sauce?
So! Sauce is a Korean-inspired sweet soy sauce created by Chef Keeyoung Kim of Sura Eats in Kansas City. Lighter and sweeter than traditional soy sauce, it brings umami depth, clean acidity, and a subtle sweetness that makes it one of the most versatile sauces in Korean cooking.
How to Use So! Sauce
Stir Fry Base Use as the primary sauce in any stir fry — 2 to 3 tablespoons per serving. Pairs especially well with vegetables, tofu, and pork.
Finishing Drizzle Pour lightly over steamed rice, bibimbap, or grain bowls right before serving.
Dipping Sauce Serve alongside dumplings, steamed vegetables, or Korean pancakes (pajeon).
Glaze Brush onto salmon, chicken thighs, or pork belly in the last few minutes of cooking for a caramelized finish.
Why It Works
Korean cuisine uses sweet soy as a balancing force — it's the sauce that makes everything else in the bowl make sense. So! Sauce brings that same role to home cooking. Where Go! Sauce brings heat, So! Sauce brings harmony. Together they cover nearly every Korean cooking application you'll encounter.
